Yes, this means that the electric company would owe you money. This is most likely during times of peak sunlight, or when your energy needs are low. You could go on vacation in the summer and come back to find that the electric company owes you hundreds of dollars that your solar roofing, or other built-in photo voltaic (BIPV) generated!

More about thin film...

What is amazing about thin film solar panles is that they can be made into and shape or size and not lose much if any effect. In other words, solar panels that are the same size and shape as roof shingles can be made. Your roof can be fully solar, but not look much different than your neighbor’s. No one needs to know - or even if your want everyne to know about your solar roofing because you are proud of your choice, they will know because you tell the, not because of an unsightly or diferent looking roof.

Let's start with Solar...

I’m going to start this blog with resources about solar energy. This renewable could be the key to you reducing your own dependence on gas or oil. Throw out that picture of ugly giant solar panels, and realize that solar energy can be produced in a way that does not subtract from the aesthetic of your home. And it can do so :
1. solar roofs: http://www.thinfilmsolar.net or http://www.solarcellshingles.com
2.
